Are you passionate about shaping the future of Pompano Beach? Do you want to have a voice in decisions that impact our community? District 1 residents are invited to apply for the opportunity to serve on the following city boards and committees.
I am seeking engaged, community-minded individuals to represent District 1 in the following roles:
Charter Amendment Advisory Board
1 Regular Voting Member
Community Appearance Committee
1 Regular Voting Member
Community Development Advisory Committee
1 Regular Voting Member
Cultural Arts Committee
1 Regular Voting Member
Education Advisory Committee
1 Regular Voting Member
1 Alternate Member
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
1 Regular Voting Member (must be a registered voter and property owner in the city)
Planning and Zoning Board (Local Planning Agency)
1 Regular Voting Member
Pompano Beach Economic Development Council
1 Regular Voting Member
Zoning Board of Appeals
1 Regular Voting Member
1 Alternate Member
What You Need to Know
Serving on a board or committee is an excellent way to:
Contribute to decisions that shape our city’s future.
Collaborate with other residents and city leaders.
Represent the interests and values of District 1.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be a resident of District 1.
For the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, you must also be a registered voter and property owner in the City of Pompano Beach.
